The journal is funded by the state budget of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution.
The publication of articles is free of charge.
This is a multidisciplinary research journal containing original research articles (not published
anywhere else before) that belong to the research areas of social, natural, agricultural, medical and
health, technology sciences, and humanities. The language of the journal is English.
Each article is evaluated by at least two reviewers. Authors are recommended to improve the
articles according to the reviewers’ remarks or provide arguments why they do not agree with them.
The final decision is made by the editorial board. The articles published or submitted to other
journals are not accepted.
The manuscripts submitted by authors are checked by a text-matching tool. The papers with the
evidence of plagiarism detected are rejected. The responsibility for the originality of the content lies
on the author/s, who sign a Letter of Guarantee. The journal gives authors the right to distribute
their article without any restrictions.
The journal provides open access to peer-reviewed articles. The author publishes his original article
in the journal and retains copyright. The users use the publication online for free.
Instructions for authors
Papers must not exceed 5000 words in length, including title, authors, abstract,
keywords, introduction, materials and methods, results (and discussion),
conclusions, references and appendices for a total of 10 pages (but not less than 7
pages).
Papers must be submitted in English with accurate grammar and spelling suitable
for publication. For authors whose first language is not English we request that you
have your work proof-read prior to submission by a native English speaker (or at
least a fluent English speaker). Papers can be rejected due to a poor standard of
English.
Articles must be accurately formatted as specified in the formatting requirements.
▪ Articles can be produced in any version of Microsoft Word. It must not be sent in
PDF format and should not be zipped. Papers should be submitted as a .doc
attachment by email.
▪ The file name should consist of leading author’s last name (or if 2 authors, last name
of both authors) adding “HESDIA” at the end. Example:
“Pirmas_ir kt.HESDIA.doc” OR “Pirmas_Antras_HESDIA.doc”.
▪ License agreement is a mandatory part of article submission and should be signed
by at least one author.
▪ License agreement must be sent as a scanned (.pdf) document of filled and signed
license agreement form (please find it attached).
